Jury out in father stoning trial

Ernest Norton died from a heart attackA jury has retired to consider verdicts in the case of five boys accused of killing a pensioner as he played cricket with his teenage son.

Earlier, he had said he was a member of a group of boys aged between 10 and 13 who had gone to the park to fight with another gang.
The teenager, who said he belonged to a boxing club, claimed the gang was formed so they could play football and "manhunt", a form of hide-and-seek.
